Kiky joy usb/ psx2 pad - HELP

Hello alll new to this project 64 business - decided not to bother with n64 emulation because of control as i only want it for fps games.
Then i saw and brought a kiky usb thing that allows me to use my dual shock pad - its great except even if i set the dead zone to 0% cant aim a little bit and certainly not smoothly (based on golden eye)

Any idea what plugin i need (or wrong setting i might have) to get the aiming working properly?

Unfortunatly i cant try nrages plugins as they make the programs crash. i need a plugin with its functionality but which doesnt crash!
