Banjo-Kazooie silly problem

I've this annoying problem, which I don't know how to remedy.

When I try to execute "Talon Trot" (hold Z, left C) nothing happens. He just stands there and when I try running up the slope he obviously slides back. I've finished first stage, even tried turning on "all moves" cheat - nothing.. Because of that I can't scale the slope to the second stage.

I've absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong.

I think you have something here.

I've tried different pluggins jabo's, del's, n-rage.... and using some cheap gamepad without the analog stick. The weird thing is that all other moves (I just finished one stage) work fine. That was the only move I couldn't execute.

After reading your post I remapped buttons and guess what? Works fine know.
Very strange.
