I have been connecting to the net via Juno Free for the last 5 months now. It has worked fine. but J ust today, I tryed to connect and as soon as the DUN icon showed in the taskbar it disappeared and said I had an invlaid username/password. After that, I rewired the little bit of phone line we had running through the house with totally new wire and it still didnt work. After that, I tryed and still didnt work. So, I decided to go for something totally different and tryed Earthlink.net since I had a CD. It works fine. But I am stuck on a 45 day trial and have to cancel my account before then. So, I need some advice.

sounds like Juno deleted your account or something. Go to Juno's web site and re-register and try connecting with the new account.
If you're able to connect to the net through a different service then there isn't anything wrong with your hardware, theres something wrong with the server (Juno is this case).

i think it'll usually do that if you've exceeded the 10 hour/month limit on the free account - though i did hear about a way to cheat the software to get past the limit (forgot what it was)

Did it ever cross your mind that Juno is tracking down on that, and fixing it?
Seriosuly, i don't care how cheap you are, it is not hard to spend 10 bucks a month on internet service.

Vchat, most people here pay more then 10 a month on internet. I, for example, pay $30 a month, and I had to buy a $200 dsl modem. Remember, with all things you get what you pay for.

$45 a month here for 1.5mbit/256kbit ADSL and free modem with 12 month commitment. No gay traffic limit either (Aussies?) :P

Vchat, I know you are young but why don't you go and get a paper round or something to pay for your internet connection?
Services such as Juno are stopped from providing a better service by people who cheat the system instead of paying for what they need instead.

Ok at $10 a month, thats $120 a year. If you can afford just any computer, you can afford that.
