Mario at the press start screen is barely there on PJ64 1.6 and if I switch to video 1.52, he's completely gone.

How do I fix this problem??

Did you recently update your video driver? if so, you might want to roll them back to the previous driver

Do you know what version of it you had previously? If so, go to nvidia's site and redownload it. Remove the driver you installed, then install the older edition... newer drivers often are designed to work best with newer cards and can degrade/damage performance for older cards.

Would it mess up my computer if I uninstalled it and then reinstalled it by the CD I have of Nvidia??

If not, is there something I can do to protect what I have on my computer?? Precautions to take. I don't want to reformat, I just did not too long ago.

That won't cause you a prob. Just uninstall the driver from Add/Remove Programs, restart your PC and install the older driver from your CD or from a package from NVIDIA's website, and then restart your PC again to be on the safe side.
