Pokemon Diamond - Always freezes at certain point

My game always freezes at this exact point (this is after I battle the 2 guys and my rival is helping me), I can never seem to get past it:

I have tried many different configurations, here is the current one:

I'm using No$gba 2.4a with the game patched / bios and stuff

Oh and I'm using a controller, not the keyboard. Not sure if that matters.

I dont know about that because I do not like Pokemon but try to turn off the sound ? Sometime sounds cause some games to freeze or crash.

Umm, turning sound off is what makes it freeze...something about if the sound is off, the game will wait for a sound to happen but since it is off it will never happen.

Actually for Dialga scene freezing problem, you have to press and hold Y button to pass it.

This is not freezing,the game slows down like mad or something like that
After pressing some random buttons,that scene was over
I have no idea if it should be like that on a normal DS...

It's a emulation issue and doesn't appear on a real DS whether you use a flashcart or the real cartridge.

I too have the same problem. But I dont get any response even after waiting for half an hour or by pressing Y or any other key.

PS: I know that it is the 'Y' key for the DS and not the keyboard
