I've got Chaplet NBD 486T (FCC ID: GXLD4X2TA) notebook in perfect condition, but without any drivers.
There's a modem - FM-D48P ( FCC ID: GXLDFM-D48P) based on RC224ATF chip
I've found some info - It's 2400 Rockwell modem chip. I have plans to use this antique stuff as control terminal, so i don't need high speed , even 1200 will be fast enough.
There's also some kind of sound card based on AJ9248DZ 8 bit DSP (Covox-like stuff) it can be aslo very useful (not as sound card of course
)
But Chaplet is out of business a long long time ago (in a galaxy... errr )
Where can i find some drivers or info ( DSP seems to be connected to a parallel
port , but while port works perfectly, i can't get any response from DSP)
Same with modem - mouse port (w/ trackball), COM2 - it works ok, but there's no signs of modem on it) Maybe there's some kind of "switch" controlled by some drivers ?
I need any info about this notebook (not modem or DSP chip - i have PDF's, but any ideas about how to get it working)
