Are they crazy?? they still haven't released the quad-core and are already developing an 80-Cores CPU.
Technology advances way too fast for us to keep up with it.

That chip is still in early development, and even when it has 80 cores, they are not so powerful alone, but together they do the job. It's a kinda a Cell processor, only taht has a lot of cores, and they are less powerful too. More info:
