i am curious about what will be the focus of mupen now:compatibility?speed?cheats?bug fixing?and the other things that i recognize that has nothing to do with mupen is:since u are from ultrahle team do u know if there will be an update?if the source code will be released to people play with it?

i certaintly hope that it is going to be compatibility

http://annirpg.net/sigg/Screendshot.jpg -bad physics (yet the game runs perfectly on the 64)

http://annirpg.net/sigg/Screenshot.jpg -b0rked display

with the top one i was driving _over_ the bridge, yet got immediately stuck _in_ it. No amount of dif. options seem to fix it (except i always use the same gfx plugin, no others seem to work as good).

I really appreciate what is being done here... and i can only hope that it isn't too long before i can play my good old 64 games on my pc (without having to run pj64 or 1964, both of which require *windoze*).

...does anybody get "perfect" (or very close to it) emulation and display under linux with this (using the default plugins)? I wonder if it's a graphics card thing... im using an onboard nvidia 6150 sucking up 64meg of system ram leaving me with 441.1 meg of available user memory...

it may not be a terrably fast chipset, but it does however support everything (pixel shader 3.0 etc etc), and i think that the linux drivers enable all of that. I am using the very latest ones from nvidia. Well i'll stop by from time to time and try out the latest versions. My N64 + cartridges are basically dead. Sometimes i spend more than ten minutes (literally) trying to get the games to start...
