To use UltraHLE Alpha you need a glide wrapper (eVodoo or Gl2Ideal if you have a good videocard) and a controller plugin. For the error, I don't know, maybe you're trying a bad dump?

If that one was a question, the answers pretty simple, just put the glide2x.dll of any wrapper distribution and they come with a configuration application, ya run it into the same directory as uhle and configure the wrapper acording to yer needs, got it?
by theway, what videocard do u have?

Then I recommend you Gl2Ideal, it will go faster than eVodoo (OpenGL is more fast than D3D on GeForce chipsets)
