How do I use hardware drawing in FF7, the only option the config gives me is software. If I use the RIVA TNT patch the game looks strange. Is it possible to fix this?

are you talking about the PC FF7, or an emulated copy?

Yes, use the riva/TNT patch and just leave the check box un-checked. Unfortunately it doesn't work too well on a GF3.

These are the best combnations I can get. Sorry about the pic size, I wanted you to see a good representation of what you can get out of the lines with AA/Anistrophy. Notice the characters and text have awesome smoothness, but the background defects are horrible. As for the other, the text is off alignment and I havn't found any setting to fix that either regardless of Video card tweaking.

Thanks for the help Eagle. It's the PC version I got. If I emulate the game (psx-emulator) will it look better then?
