Question about the ROM browser
Is there a way to make the ROM browser NOT scan the ROM directory each time 1964 is opened?

Go to "Ctrl+U then in the window that comes up, the "User Options" window, untick the "Enable Rom Browser" box under the "Window" section.

That turns the ROM browser off completely.
I was more wondering of some way to keep 1964 from checking to see what ROMs I have everytime I start it. My ROMs hardly ever change, and not that the hang time while it's checking the directory is all that long, it would still be nice to be able to disable it from looking each time.

Actually I just noticed on startup with the ROM browser unselected it still updates the ROM browser just does not list the ROMs in the window.
Is it supposed to work like that?

Nice Tabby
I noticed this as well. 1964 should not update the rom broswer data if it is disabled, but it does. This will be resolved in the next version. Thanks.
