help with controller plz

[Mega Man III]

I have a Gravis Xterminator controller and it works for Pj64 except that the C-up and Digital-up buttons doesn't work! I don't understand why the don't work, they work for regular games so there's nothing physically wrong with the controller.
I thought that maybe there are too many buttons on it for the emu to handle. Is this a common issue and is there any way around it?

I'd suggest going to the control panel and find the game controls, or something similar, icon and calibrating your controller.

I have done that, it works fine for everything else exept pj64.

I was wrong about the digital-up button, it's the digital-right button that doesn't work.

What input plugin are you using?
I'd suggest N-Rages input.
