    XP SP1 question?

I saw that there is a SP1 Express Version for Windows XP on Windows Update. Is there any differences from that version instead of getting the whole one? I am thinking of getting that one because the file is smaller.

(PS: I have a 56k so that's why i was looking for an alternative.)

its basically the same. Except that the express version downloads only the files that are required to update your computer, so it will not download the updates that you have already downloaded, the full version downloads everything.

I have applied all the updates perior to SP1 and I downloaded the full version because if I have to reinstall Windows, I can just apply sp1 easily from the full version since the file is stored on my computer.

    Hope that helped
