Random minimizing of games...

While in winxp, every now and then, when i play a game, regardless of the resolution, and nvidia driver versions, the game will not load and minimize, regardless of the game as well. It only happens AFTER i have loaded a game, then it might happen to a few other games, and maybe not at all. The only way i have fixed it is by just restarting, does this sound familiar to anyone? gf4 ti4400 btw

Thats normal. A lot of games cannot be minimized or used with "Alt-Tab". They just arent stable enough. Some have problems doing it on NT and not 9x systems. For example, I can minimize Morrowind on 98 but not XP.

hope i didn't confuse ya eagle i meant that while opening the program it just minimizes, and i don't want it too! no alt-tab or anything invovled

Ohhhhhh, I c. OK, possibly you have a TSR or a taskbar software running in the background thats conflicting with it. Try ending everything running that isnt essential to Windows.
