Super Monkey Ball 2 or Super Mario Sunshine?

'Super' war which one is better? I don't wanna here neither or i don't have a GC and GC's suck anyway, cause i've seen how other polls have gone and i just want to know your people's opinion on these two games. YES i know there is going to be much more games for GC coming out that will be better, but JUST BETWEEN THESE TWO

i don't know where you heard it was 5 hours long, cause in fact it is alot longer, like 20 hours. plus then you have to fiinish it 100%.

ya, none of us knows enough for a fair judgement or a good arguement. most people are voting for mario 'cuz its mario.

Neither, dont own a NGC and dont want one, the graphics are not very realistic looking and are corny and stupid on the majority of the games, the music capabilities arent all that good and about the only thing going for the GC is that it is better than XBOX. In my opinion Nintendo should have stuck with an awesome system like N64 rather than create a silly one like NGC. While the N64 was better than the PSX the PS2 is far beyond the game cube.

Eagle I know youre a moderator here and all but if your opinion is "neither" and "GC sux compared to PS2" then why express it here? My feelings on the subject are pretty much just the opposite but since it's not on topic for this thread why go there?

I voted for Mario, but its mainly because I've already got Super Monkey Ball (1). There's nothing silly about SMB ... it doesn't seem any more kiddy than a thouand other video games I've played over the years. It reminds me quite a bit of "Bug" from Sega Saturn along with a predominant dose of "Ballz" and every other ball rolling game ever made. SMB2 I'm sure will be a good followup to SMB1 and perhaps I'll pick it up later when the price comes down a bit.

Mario, on the other hand, IS a must have for GC. I've played a bit at the demo kiosk and it's kinda like youre playing Mario64 but on a few hits of acid. Anyway i pick up my copy this evening if all goes as planned. I reserved it at ToysRUs a few days ago and even got a beach towel for the trouble.

Not very realistic graphics? Do you think so? You should look at screenshots of Eternal Darkness, or wait for pics of Perfect Dark Zero. You'll see if it can create realistic graphics. I'm planning to buy one, but I don't know if I should buy it when the price drops in Spain (it'll be soon) and buy Super Mario Sunshine, or wait 'till later and buy The Legend of Zelda, a title that I don't want to miss. And now that I said that, I know what's coming next.
