    LOL how great is 1964

I haven't much time but recently i tried a lot of roms with 1964 0.83c and they all run well with great speed.
On my AMD k6-2 300mhz with voodoo banshee 16mb i got full speed at most of the games with glide64 0.253.
1964 is unbelivable fast and that's the reason i like it from the beginnig of the project. Thanks Schibo and Rice for the great emulator. If you make it to manage the memory itself not to let windows do it(because Windows is buggy shell with 10 years old core) will be absolutely perfect.

    it's totally f'n great!

probably the speed they are getting isn't SOLELY 1964 (which is fast, though), but also because they have a voodoo card and are using the glide plugin.

to speed up 1964 massively in many games, right click the rom and try it at 32 bit, instead of 64. this doesn't work for over r50% of the games, but it works AWESOME on a select few.

also, .8.3 is REALLY not recommended for win98se users....

    try .8.0 prerelease.

.8.3 works great on xp, though...

You have a Pentium thats why its slower. From what I've experienced AMD powered computers out preform the Intel ones.

Also the glide plugin does run fast

Lol well yeah the athlon, athlon xp and the duron(budget range wise) are (I think) more powerful than their intel counterparts but the amd k6-2 processor that he has isnt as it is terrible my mate has a 500mhz one (which I beleive is as far as that went) and its pathetic even with 512mbs ram and a 64mb gf2 pro its useless games properly run terrible on it and since the rest of his system is good the processor has to be the prob.

Only few games run full speed with sound on my system, so I use (((((no sound))))) + assume 32bit . For me that's not a problem cause I don't like the sound in most of the games.
    I got 150% speed in Aerogauge,Chameleon Twist .....
1964 is fast + Glide64 is fast so this is the best combination for speed.
Only Corn is faster (it's too fast to play some games even on my system)

Now some words on PJ64. It's very very slow maybe 2 or 3 times slower than 1964. So it's almost useless for me until I upgrade my computer.
