    Fake64 official info

Fake64 is a real n64 emulator for linux, despite it's name

Although currently in the early stages of development, most of the basic stuff is in place.

    For more info, see http://www.fakelabs.org/code/fake64

K, i think its about time for a little status update after almost a year.
    (sheesh, time flies)
basically the project was slowly getting into submission, and its safe to say development died out during february last year, mainly because
of school and some bugs that just wouldnt want to get found.

its now.. 15 oktober 2002, i consider the crew gone, BUT
im prolly gonna pick it up as a project, as i dont know any
good coders that are willing to help,
so im going to do it on my own for now,
with as a target to build an developer friendly emulator.

i will also try to get both the website and cvs back online...

help is appreciated, but not (at least not for the cpucore) required

    edit:

    website online: http://www.fakelabs.org/code/fake64

will get updated and maybe redone

thanks to hacktarux, some obsolete code was removed, and the absolute crap demos now work... im prolly gonna take all our changes in the cvs, add some debugger changes i've made and release version 0.04 of fake64

    ps

    i still need a team...
(bluefyre where are you? havent seen you in a month)
if anyones willing to help, you can probably reach me on
#emulation64 on efnet.... but dont offer help if you have no coding experience or dont have linux...
help is especially needed regarding the graphics engine...

    I'm still alive!

I'm currently studying a physics degree at University College London for those of you that don't know. Due to the non-stop nature of university life and the fact that I don't have a computer in my room at the moment i'm not very active, but i'll be happy to advise and help out with coding where i can.

I should imagine you're going to want me to explain how 3d is designed and how input works at some point
