Unhappy What does this ERROR mean, and how do i fix it? (Castlevania 64)

    "ERROR
In a permanent loop that cannot be exited.
    Emulation will now stop.

    Verify ROM and ROM Settings."

I get this error when i try to launch Castlevania 64 on the latest version of Project64. What am I supposed to do? I'm a newbie, so please help me out.

OK, thx dude. Now I've downloaded all necessary apps and played around with the Castlevania file in GoodWindows/GoodN64. The file got renamed into:

    Castlevania (U) (V1.0) [b3]

But what does this mean? Does the rom work or not?

    *still a newbie *

Hmm... Dang. But that's strange... I checked my other roms too, Diddy Kong Racing for example:

    Diddy Kong Racing (U) (V1.0) [b1]

It has one of those 'b' in the end too, but heck, the game runs flawlessly! But.. Oh well..

    ***EDIT***

Is it possible to apply some kind of patch on the malfunctioning rom? If so, where do I find those?

Moderators: Am I allowed to ask this? If not, then I'll edit my post. Please don't ban me.

    inga problem

A tip: Always backup your roms before you try to patch them (if anything would go wrong...)
