Nice. Do we have to join the site or is there another download location offsite or Emulation64?
For the time being registration is required.
Gent seems to believe forcing people to register will make them more inclined to report bugs and request features.
Whereas I see it as more troublesome for those that want to play with it first and then when an issue crops up make an account and then post.
I don't really know what's best.
I'm leaving it in Gent's hands since for the time being he is essentially the 'manager'.
Oh, to have Smiff back
Edit: Apparently the word I used was a naughty word! It had the first three letters censored lol. So troublesome it is!
Nes the download link is also available from the Project64 Download Page
Guest can now download the beta packages but not any update files/plugins etc. As i still feel "Members" are still more likely to assist in bug reports, common sense as guests cannot post...... I am not forcing anyone to do anything........
If Radeonuser or anyone else wants everything else available, all they need do is go into admin console and allow it.
Smiff if you are still around, the boys need you.

Yeah, I'm rather using the wrong word there aren't I.
I would love N64 emulation to be back in it's heyday but I've realized that interest has waned quite a bit.
So I'd prefer people have an easier time downloading and later register.
I'm of the belief we might have some that would like to try it out but see the registration as such a hassle that it's not even worth it (I've been through that before...)
I know, it's not what we discussed but when I see the numbers we have so far :S I don't see much hope for garnering beta testers lol.
Congratulations to your success guys, I wish you all the best with your Project64!
I really hope you will get many people for testing, there have been a tremendous secrecy and hush hush to the N64 scene over the years that have made me fed up with it sometimes.
I don't know why N64 have been the target for all this secrecy and hush hush but god damn it have been a pain in the @zz to test things out because the lack of easy downloads to builds.
Things have changed today (thank god) and now I got a reasonably stable N64 experience.
Curious... I don't find there's a lot of secrecy. What do you find to be the most annoying issues with N64 emulation? I do certainly agree with you the lack of easy access downloads is an issue. Github hasn't improved download access so I've been trying to leave the latest stable build up as a download.

"I am not a teacher: only a fellow traveler of whom you asked the way.
I pointed ahead -- ahead of myself as well as of you." (George Bernard Shaw)
I was referring to Project64 mostly, the 1.7 days and before the project went open source.
God forbid anyone who weren't a donator and a member of the secret order to even speak of or mention Project64 1.7 by name, it was like you were a criminal if you did.
Project64 1.7 was leaked several years later and it have served me well the years I used it, now I can pretty much choose between m64p or any Project64 build as long as angrylion-rdp-plus works.
much appreciated.
Feels like old times.
