Pokemon Stadium: Black Screen in GB Tower

I'm using Project 64 2.3, i'm trying to transfer my Pokemon from my Pokemon Blue game into Pokemon Stadium 1, i have the Transfer Pak enabled with my rom and sav hooked up, although once i head to the GB Tower and pick my cartridge, the game goes into a black screen with no sound.
I'm not sure how the GB Tower works in the game so maybe i'm doing something wrong, but please tell me what i have to do to fix this.
