What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart

I have a question (cannot run the script at the moment due to an error, but I felt I should ask anyway):

As I understand it, you dump the necessary .png files, take a screenshot of the same area, and the script pieces the textures together into a single image using the screenshot as a guide. (If I am wrong, let me know, of course), but how does this work if there are other objects blocking the background that you cannot get out of the way?

No. Basically, you open the script in photoshop, and have it number all of the textures from a folder. Then you go into the emu, and you can see how the textures fit together. Then you have to put them together in one big file in photoshop, edit the picture, then let highreseaser split them back up for you. Since there's a little overlap in the texturers ingame, it makes this part much easier.

Oh, alright. That makes a LOT more sense. I think that I can write my own script to do something a bit more basic but similar since I cannot get this one to work... but at least I will fully understand and be able to control mine.

Thanks.

I know no one's posted on here in a while but I'm getting an error everytime it comes to choosing a screenshot it says invalid colour code, if I choose to ignore the error I get another colour code error after its finished. I've made sure to crop the screenshot so it's only the background, I've tried changing the horizontal offset, I've tried different versions of Photoshop and I've tried making all textures that are not part of the background transparent so they aren't in the screen shot but I keep getting the same error.

lets see a screenshot of what your are working on in photoshop.

"I've made sure to crop the screenshot so it's only the background " when the script goes to read the texture location watch the curser, does it lean to far to one edge?

set the horizontal offset to %10
