What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

We'll put that on the back burner then. :satisfied

Despite my reservations, I'd love to figure out a way to do it though.

Otherwise, version 1.7 has been released, it's awesome, and can be found here. I don't know what was more complicated, coding this script or organizing the top posts of this thread!

Probably organizing the posts. I had to copy that post from one of your earlier topics to be able to inject it into the top spot as posts are placed in chronological order.

If you can't get to it, so be it, you have already done so much.

Well at least it all makes sense up there now!

Let me know what you think of 1.7 when you try it out.

ROBO read issue:
Script asks for the amount of textures to be read but won't except the input. I need ten textures per row.

That's odd, it accepts all numbers from 1-999, but I specifically tested it with 10 in particular numerous times. Stupid question, but you are typing 10 not ten, right? Also no punctuation.

Post a screenshot possibly

UPDATE: Just tested with the 1.7 archive uploaded to emutalk, no issues experienced

I tried 10 1.0 and ten. I've also typed random values. Nothing it asks me to enter a value between 1-999.

Issue present in both single file per row entry and multi file per row.

Mariokart64 codes correctly with 1.6 but not 1.7.
Thinking it's a PS issue.

Ok, so that means your photoshop scripting engine doesn't like the error handling altogether. Delete line 825 (or 824 depending on how you deleted 814). The line starts with "if (xoffset..."

Awesome! I should mention that the tiled screenshot you're using will need to have the top and bottom rows (the ones with only two textures) cropped out before processing. Roboread only supports same amount of textures per row.

Can you post the files, including your screenshot? I'd like to see if it's a problem with your photoshop.
