sound crackling hybrid heaven

Hello just downloaded project 64 2.2.0.3 and the sound is killing me constant crackling, i checked sync game to audio and it got better but its still annoying any help? TY

I gave this game a quick 5 minutes. What seemed to work immediately while the game was running was to go to Options -> Configure Audio Plugin... and click Sync Game to Audio. Then turn off the frame limiter under System -> Limit FPS (or hit F4). You can also turn off Sync to Audio in the game settings and turn it on in the audio plugin so you don't have to turn the frame limiter off. The side effect of this is the game will not run at a constant speed but it will be virtually unnoticeable. Make sense?

are you using version 2.2.0.3, because i cant find that under system, matter of fact there is only f1 f2 f3 f5, no f4 xD!, and under the games settings i turn off sync, and then turn it on in the audio plugin but nothing seems to happen

You have to disable hide advanced settings in the general settings first
