So I was playing through and it started getting buggy- skipping around like some kind of bad lag. So I figured I'd just save and close it trying to just restart. Well I did that and when I opened the game back up, using no new method then usual, my save file was gone. I tried looking it up, looking up advice on forums, searching all the files I could and to no avail. I don't know now if I have messed things up even more seeing as I'm not super tech savvy and operating on windows 8 which is still new to me. I just want my files back so I can relive this nostalgic memory of my childhood and mess Ganon up. Can anyone help me?
PJ64 v2.1 Zelda OOT save got deleted or removed. Need Help!

Savestate tend to do that sometimes, there is nothing you can do unless you made a backup

Go to your pj64 folder and find where it makes the saves and copy them somewhere else and put them back if they ever disappear
