Hello everyone i hope someone can help me.

Im playing WWF No Mercy and im trying to edit the textures but the edits do not show up in the game.

So i dump the textures using "d" and the dumped textures go into the texture_dump folder .....I try and edit the textures and save.

When i load the game I hit "r" to load the textures and no changes occured. What am i doing wrong.

Sincerely thanks
Al

Edited texture files are loaded from \Plugin\hires_texture\{GameName Folder}.
Copy your edited files to that directory.

Be sure that the folder name is spelled exactly the same as the first part of the texture file names.

Did you select Rice mode in the Glide video plugin options?

Yes i selected rice mode, and by folder name being spelled correctly...did u mean the hires_texture folder or the WWF No Mercy folder.

Again i appreciate all your help.

So what i did was take a picture that was.dumped.....edit the picture and put it in... Plugin....hires...wwf no mercy.folder. Is that right

The hires_texture folder is spelled correctly my concern is that the wwf folder is misnamed. This folder must match the first part if the texture ID, simply copy this ID as folder name.

Did you resize it at all? If so that may also cause a conflict.

Upload that texture file to me here.

Copy the hires_texture folder into the 1.6 plugins folder and give that a try.

Yeah, but for some reason it's not read properly.
What is the location of your Glide64.dll is the hires folder within the same location?
Or better yet is the hires_texture folder right next to your texture_dump folder? Sorry I should have asked this earlier :(

Where is the texture_dump folder?
Place the hires_texture folder in the same location as the texture_dump folder.

This is one of the reasons that I still recommend PJ64 1.6 over 2.x
1.6 is much easier to troubleshoot :D

the only texture_dump folder i have is located

project64....textures.....texture_dump.....(this is where the texture are dumped for me)

ive created the hires_texture folder in the plugin section,

Should I download 1.6 instead.

Ive created the hires folder with no mercy folder inside.....right next to the texture dump folder.... ...editied an image and put in the hires folder...and nothing

Hmm, I have not used the PJ64Glide plugin before maybe the PJ64 team has it configured to read from the Textures directory.
Drop the hires_texture folder into /Texture and restart PJ64

Ive put the hires folder into the texture directory where the texture dump category is and edited the picture put in the hires no mercy folder...
Same result.... should i just try with 1.6?

Zilmar modified the Glide64 for PJ64 plugin to load textures from the same place as Jabo's plugin.

Try using what NES said and configuring it like you previously did.

Ok so heres what i did.
I download glide64 and project 64 1.6
I selected the glide video plugin in options.......created the hires and texture dump folders /wwf no mercy...... in the Plugin Folder,

Load the game and dump textures...... look into the texture dump folder and nothing is there.

Use 7zip to open the archive.
Use PJ64 1.6 and drop the attached into the plugins directory. See if it loads.

Glide64 creates the texture_dump folder automatically when you start dumping
textures the only one that you need to make is hires_texture.
