I'm working with a $300 budget

I need a tablet that

A) Has HDMI
B) Can run N64 games as smoothly as possible
C) Can connect to bluetooth controllers (like PS4)

Suggestions?

I'm not sure how the Android selection of N64 emulators is (or more importantly what specs are required to run them), but the cheapest Windows version of the Dell Venue 8 is around $300. From its specs I'd guess it could run Windows N64 emulators alright. Not sure about its HDMI or Bluetooth connectivity.

Yeah, but just like the Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan, it's also the most expensive.

It's $300 dollars which was his price range. There are more expensive 8" tablets than the Shield Tablet with far less hardware/software capability.

Would go for a Shield indeed. Or just like buddy Toasty said, get something like an Acer Aspire Switch 10. It would give you more options on emulation and joysticks.
