  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
    We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
    Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

    If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
    Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
    If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
    RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

Glide64 Texture scale question?

I just started using Pj64 2.0 and glide64 for re-texturing.( was using pj641.6 and rice video before.) I usually increase the texture resolution by 4x that was the highest rice seemed to support. Can glide64 load higher resolution textures like maybe 6x or 8x???

In my Space Invaders project I have a 8x textures working with Glide64.
I have never heard of 6x; the high-res-easer script only upscales to 2x,4x,8 and 16x.

You must have been using a very old version of Rice Video. The latest version of Mudlord's, Aristotle's and death--droid's Rice Video can scale to at least 128x the texture's resolution.
