    Trouble With DS Emulators

I can't seem to run any (NO$GBA, Desmume) ds emulator...i have tried both final fantasy 3 and 4 and they run slow but the odd thing is i remember i use to run these games at pretty much 60 FPS 1 or 2 years ago.

i know it has to be something on my part and i was just wondering if anybody else had a similar problem...what could i have done or downloaded to my computer that interferes with the performance of DS Emulator?

Windows 7, 64 bit SP1, Intel Core i5-2430m, 2.40 gHz, 4.0GB Ram, Intel HD Graphics Family, NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M

in all seriousness, not only is that cpu perfectly capable of ds emulation, both those graphics chips are too.

might check that the laptops cooler isn't clogged full of dust and pet fur.

is the integrated graphics card, not the NVIDIA, good enough?

I found the problem...after shaking my laptop in rage and disconnecting it from it's power source the emulator began to ran at 60 FPS...apparently i put my settings to run at very low capacity while plugged in lol. Anyways, thanks for the suggestions and i guess you can close the thread now.
