What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

I Would like to put together a team to retexture Destruction Derby 64 using Jabo's Direct3D8 1.7.0.57.

Yes, I do use Glide64 most of the time but for this game Direct3D8 seems to run smother.
We can also take this time to find the best method of retexturing with use of the Jabo format.

1. I need someone that can identify most or all of the car models as to retexture them with realistic car textures.
2. I need someone to model the building and other features.
3. I need someone that is good with text and HUD.

Old school without the aid of HighResEaser should be fun, Inquire within.

~Progress~
Car selection.
All menu cars dumped.
Courses dumped. SeaScape Sprint.

Maybe I could help with dumping all the textures?

EDIT: Nevermind, textures glitch out with Jabo's Direct3D 8 1.7.0.57 (I have an Intel HD Graphics 3000, which even it trough supports DirectX 10.1 and OpenGL 3.1, it always glitches with Jabo's plugin, even trough all other graphic plugins (including Rice recently) work fine :( Wish Jabo had ever fixed it...)

for this game Direct3D8 seems to run smother.
Also, I would like to clear up this misunderstanding. Jabo isn't faster than Glide64 because it uses DirectX instead of OpenGL, it is faster because it works straight with DirectX, while Glide64 works with Glide, and then translates that to OpenGL (what the wrapper does).
