How to link VBA to dolphin?

Hello =) i am wondering how to link Visual boy advance-M to Dolphin. i watched a video and did everything it said but it still didnt work. i set the port 2 to GBA because if i set port 1 to GBA it wouldnt work. I would like some help on this. thanks in advance. (note: yes, i do run them at the same time)

you want vba-m
not vba.

Some games work with such connection, some doesn't. Maybe you trying with game, that doesn't work.
For example, Zelda Four Swords Adventures is said to work OK, but Tingle Tuner in Zelda Wind Waker doesn't work at all.

i do have VBA-M. the game im trying is animal crossing. must be one of the games that dont work emulated.
