    High Res Textures for VC

Just want to throw an idea out there.

Are there any programers that would take the task of creating a program that will allow users to patch there n64 wads with the capabilities of high res, without rom hacking?
For this to happen an emulator may be needed within each wad.

Hash it out, lets see what this idea brings us to.

I think there is already a "Load custom Textures" in dolphin. Maybe you should look it out?

Not quite sure what your exactly on about NES_player4LIFE, but Dolphin already has the capability to dump textures and load in hi-res texture
If you appreciate some of the work I do, all donations are greatly appreciated

If Image doesn't work, try http://bit.ly/QQVaSq

Also check out my new emulation archiving project at emulationking.com , an awful lot of work to go still

see what I want to do is load high res textures into wads for use in wii VC or the homebrew equivalent.

I don't want to hack the rom file but run a High Res patch file along side of the the rom within the WAD.

I'll look in to Dolphin ripping n64 wad textures some time.

    bump:

n64 textures do dump but emulation is slower then project 64 method.

If a team can dedicate themselves to n64 emulation via dolphin this will be great as dolphin runs Paper Mario 64 slow but without any glitching (so far)
