Glide64 problems in Project64

I am trying to play Harvest Moon 64 in Project64 and use Glide64 for graphics. Whenever I try to boot up the game with Glide64 selected the whole thing crashes and says there is an error. So I would like to know how to configure Glide64 to run with both Project 64 and Harvest Moon 64 rom.

Here are some of my computer stats
Processor Intel Pentium 4 1800MHZ
Ram 768MB
Video Card NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700LE with 256MB memory Driver Updated to most recent
Operating System Windows XP Home Edition
DirectX version 9

5700LE might be too old, you might have to use an older version of glide64 / glide3x

Which version would you recommend and where can I download it from?
I tried downloading glide3x.dll but it did nothing.

Is this a generic, program-unexpectedly-terminated error, or is there a relevant error message?
