problems with my jnes

hey guys i need some help





i bring up my jnes and it looks fine and all then i go and open a rom and my whole screen goes black and doesn't do anything...


i can't do anyhtign till i hit escape but then it doesn't play the game...


can anyone help me

when you open, you are opening a .nes file, right?

what version of jnes are you running?

when the "whole screen goes blank", does jnes suddenly maximize itself and go blank, or does just the little window go blank?

what PC are you running?

need more info than "my screen goes blank".
