help!

Hello,
My name is peter, and just recently I downloaded Project 64. I am howeve experincing some difficulties and would appreciate it if one of you helped me.

Everytime I try to set up the emu, i get a messgae saying
"Directd3D failed to initialize your HAL device. make sure you have a properly configured 3D graphics card compatible with Direct 3D 6.o." Then i get a message saying that it can't initialize graphics. I have a Pentium 3 533 megahertz, 384 megs of RAM, and a RivaTnt. I'm also running win2000 ANy help would ve appreciated

Try setting desktop color depth to 16-bit, also get the latest drivers and directx version. Does other direct 3d stuff work well?

first of all, download the latest nvidia drivers (nvidia.com) and direct x 8.1 (microsoft.com/directx)
