problem with Harvest moon infinite money cheat

It was working fine at first but now, it is stuck on $48595 and I can buy most things but it wont let me build, says I dont have enough money. I even tried to buy a baby bed for 1000 and the old man goes to my house and says Sorry you don't have enough money come back when you have saved up.

I took the cheat off and it still says the same thing.

Cheats can mess up games really bad, and you learned this the hard way. No, there probably isn't anything you can do to fix if disabling the cheat didn't do anything.
