about the converter:
I havn't gotten any furthure progress done on it...
so I started working on an importer for blender, I'm stuck on getting the faces to import... lol
no... I don't need help XD
it just doesn't know how to accept correct code... lol

it imports the verts correctly for every file.

if only I understood how to use the relocation table... :(

Hello everyone, need help! I unpacked image of the Gamecube version of Skies of Arcadia Legends. Most of files extensions are *mld, *mlk and *mll. Please give me a hint how can I get its content to operate it?

sorry dude, but I'm afraid you're on the wrong thread =]
this thread is for cracking melee's file formats

however, do a few searches on google and see what you get :)

Sorry.Has made not one thousand searches in googl. But in internet there is no even a hint on these extensions:(

do you know anything that could help us on here??

I'm working on looking for differant types of bone data, and deciphering the relocated offsets.
(what offsets do what)

Milun's somewhat at a pit-stop right now... lol

and revel's probly working on the Metroid prime stuff
I don't understand it too much (still looking)

anything new would help us out :)

have you ever thought about looking into the brawl formats, to get a better understanding of the melee formats??
I'm thinking you should maybe look here:

my project is currently at a hault because of my many other projects...
I've decided to work on them now...

but I'd like to get back to this soon, so any furthure input would help out by alot.

While I'm not entirely sure what this entails... I have a feeling if this gets going, we may see things like what's going down here becoming a little more widespread, at least from the hacking standpoint. :)

sadly I've gotten nothing new done on it as I've been working on my list of projects...

wish I could get some help on my MDL0 importer...
trying to figure out the format to help the Hardcore Brawl Hacks (HCBH) team.

I still want to hack melee... (on gcn instead of cpu) :borg:

so getting back to this...
how do I go about reading data listed in the relocation table??

offset = datasize + 32 #1st value of reloc table
what do I do next??

this is where I've been stuck at...
I'm not sure how to write an equation that would:
add 4 to the offset
sub 4 from the reloc size
read the reloc-d offset and revert back to the offset + 4 ( - 4 from relocsize) and continue...

that large loop has me stumped...

I'm sure I can do it, but I'm not sure how and I need some help... please...

I'm gonna instead build an importer/exporter for blender on this thread...
if anyone would like to take over this project... *cough... revel... cough... cough*
go ahead :)

python wouldn't be able to handle something this big anyways...
just use brawlbox for ideas. :)

i tried to vertex out mewtwo into lucario but i failed o_O
i didn't find the string of hex numbers that do the work o_O

any help ?

the most I've done is simple texture swaping...
I havn't gotten into model hacking... yet...

but maybe I won't need to...
I hope to get some help soon <_<
then model swaping will be very easy :D

Sorry, that's just me. XD

I know I've seen people do quick "rips" of some characters for that one model-doll site, I forget the name of it... Garry's Mod, I think. Saw Doc a long time back over there, but I doubt that's what we're looking for here.
