What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.

Only half the textures load.

Either use Glide64 and turn Alternative CRC Calculation on/off (to see which one fixes it), or if you still want to use Rice (I highly recommend that you use Glide64 though), then click the Texture Enhancement tab in Rice and turn Full TMEM Emulation on/off.

You can find the latest version of Glide64 at:
http://glide64.emuxhaven.net/

The latest version as of now is Glide64 'Napalm' 1.22. Here's the direct link:
http://glide64.emuxhaven.net/files/Glide64_Napalm_PR1_2_2.zip

If you prefer Rice, you might want to upgrade to the latest version (now in development by Aristotle and Mudlord), which you can find right here:

Did you do what the instructions say? Put glide3x.dll inside your emulator's directory (if you're using Project64, the default is C:\Program Files\Project64 1.6\) and put glide64.dll, glidehq.dll, and glide64.ini inside the Plugin folder (if you're using Project64, the default is C:\Program Files\Project64 1.6\Plugin\).

Also, update your graphics drivers if you can.

Also if it still doesn't work, unchecking "Hardware frame buffer emulation" might make it work, but it's a shame if that's the only thing you can do because it's such a useful feature of Glide64.

But yeah, use any graphics plugin you want.
