Problem with Direct64 v0.5.03.25

I downloaded Direct64 to use with Project64, but when I try to use it I just get a message that says "Error creating Direc3D device!". I don't know that much about video cards and crap but I have a VIA/S3G UniChrome IGP or something and I think that supports pixel shading or whatever so I don't know what the problem is. Any help would be appreciated.:sombrero:

I don't know if it supports pixel shaders (probably not) but I do know that it's a low-end integrated chip. You'll probably be limited to using Jabo's D3D6 plugin, and even that one may give you trouble. Time for an upgrade.

VIA/S3 graphics chips are way subpar, to put it bluntly. Update the chip's drivers, so you might get rid of the error message, but no graphics plugin will get you passable performance. Jabo's Direct3D6 maybe, but even that's a stretch.

Get yourself a decent, actual video card, and you'll be much happier.

the unichrome is fixed function only, and unlike the Geforce 4mx drivers of back in its time, does not emulate any shaders
