Dumping Textures size problem

When I dump textures they always turn out to be smaller than normal. Is there a way to fix that?

textures are dumped at the size they exist at in the cartridge.

Oh, that explains why the graphics are so bad in Nintendo 64 games.

limited space to store textures, which would have to either very small, or very compressed.
