Cant save

So im playing Wind Waker perfectly with "DOLPHIN SVN R 1276".
So far this is the best time i tried to emulate a gamecube rom and worked(thot it wouldnt).

So dolphin is unable to create Save States(like the other emulator for other consoles does)?
Also i tried to save throught "START+SAVE" but it says that the memory card doesnt work or something :S.

How can i save in my games?




EDIT: why the sound doesnt work as well btw? im playing wind waker.
