i don't know if this is in the right place, but i was wondering if there is any kind of plug in for the PSXe emulator that would allow increased game speed.. other emulators have them set to a certain key and call them "boosts" or "fast forward"

You can either remove the FPS Limit so that the the emulator runs as fast as your computer allows it to, or set a manual FPS limit between 10-200. The manual FPS limiter can be found in Pete's OGL2 plugin at least, I don't know about the rest. Needless to say, setting the manual FPS limit to 100 or 120 is double of the original PAL/NTSC speed - if your computer can achieve and maintain those speeds.
