    I can't get my roms to work.

    never mind i got it working now, it was just a bad rom

    If you have proper N64 roms and have put them in the Roms folder, they should appear in the Rom Browser after you've started Project64. You don't even need to use File --> Open.

    Your ROMs must have been illegally obtained and in 7-zip / RAR format then, and so we cannot help you.
