    Project 64 1.7.0.54 error

    Ej guyz,

I got Project 64 1.7.0.54 and it's absolutely great. Now I'm experimenting with hi-res textures - and this goes wrong. The textures load, but then I always get an error message, no matter the ROM.

    This is the error:

Sometimes there's even an blue-screen after the message.

Strange thing is; I don't even have the path D:myprograms\... The Emulator is installed on the I drive of my laptop (external HD)

    My specs:
    Dell XPS M1530 laptop
    T8300 CPU 2.4ghz
    8600m GT 256mb DDR3
    3gig DDR2 RAM
    Windows Vista home premium

Does anyone know how to solve this?
    Thx

Its a very old old beta of PJ64 you have there that was never released. Just use PJ1.6 or try the latest PJ1.7 beta from the officials site http://www.pj64-emu.com/

Don't worry I'll be donating soon I support the PJ64 group for a long time now. Even back in the days when I had a TNT2 GPU.

    Thx for the replies!

No problem. I sort of did the same thing. When the donation page was down and I really wanted PJ1.7 I downloaded a iffy copy. It was good but had so many bugs. As soon as donations opened again I was first in there. I am so glad I did as PJ64 1.7 is going great. I am also trying my best to help out the project though time is proving a issue.
