If one could get technical details from Wish-tech it would be theoretically possible to build a full Vista driver. Of course, convincing them to open up the drivers would be rather tough these days.

Just wanted to add, with Window 7 x64, it's the same situation. You can't use any of the features of the Adaptoid driver, so the built-in key mapper doesn't work, and can't use the Adaptoid plugin either.
It's recognized perfectly fine as a controller in Windows though, so I just used Jabo's DirectInput which works great. For key mapping, I found that the old program Joy2Key works fine as well, which I didn't expect! (I spent a lot of time searching for a newer one, but only Joy2Key worked and is free).
