What's new
  • Most issues reported these days stem from users not enabling their emulators to use the required amount of RAM.
We also tend not to use the search feature but post our issues within the texture pack release page.
Failure to load a texture pack should not be posted in the release thread unless you have already patched the emulator.

If you don't have the resources to use Large/HD texture packs please do not attempt to do so.
Users should have a minimum amount of System RAM not less then 4GB's.
If you have less then 4GB's of RAM do not post about how your emulator crashes,
RAM is dirt cheap so invest some money into your PC.

I would like to say thanks to squall_leonhart
    for posting this Solution.
  • As members seem to have a problem reading the release threads:

Djipi's packs are built for the (Glide64 finale) Plugin. Nolonger supported!
Djipi's packs are built for the (GlideN64) Plugin.
These two Plugins are two completely different pieces of code.

GlideN64.HTC archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on Glide64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Glide64.DAT archived packs locked by Djipi are not compatible with use on GlideN64, Rice video, nor Jabo video.

Djipi has never made a pack for use with Rice video and never will. any packs found in this format are not authorized!

GlideN64 is the new standard and only requires an Radeon 6XXX.
This is a somewhat older GPU and should be readily available.
Do everyone a favor and upgrade!

If you want more attention from people that know a little more about problem solving, you could either post your own thread or you could just search around other threads and see if someone else had the same problem. Persistently nagging Mollymutt isn't going to make him just know the answer all of a sudden. Make sure your video drivers are UPDATED also...

Here's the link to the up-to-date drivers for your card! :bouncy:

I know I'm not a mod, nor anything close, but I think it's time you open up your own thread. This has taken up way too much room on Mollymutt's thread which should be used to comment on the pack. Your problem obviously has nothing to do with the pack and you will probably get better help if you open up your own thread. You could also PM Mudlord, he knows a lot about this stuff since he's been working out bugs in his releases. He might even appreciate it :)

Good Luck!

He is bumping the thread of his own pack, which he worked so hard on, so it gets more attention, thus resulting in more people downloading it, thus (again) making his work worthwhile.

I get annoyed by the way you can't search back more than a couple of pages of threads in this forum, so you have to search for obscure pages.

I've been thinking we need a sticky just for 100% finished packs.

A place where the artist can write a short post with an overview of the work, a pic or two, a link for the download, and a link to their main thread for the pack and discussion.

I think it might encourage more 100% finished packs as well!

Thoughts?

I was thinking the same thing. It might encourage people to do other games than the same two or three that always get redone to death.
