so i enabled all cheats on donkey kong 64 from the project64.cht file. now i cant beat the 4th boss the pufferfish. i cant get the dk stars, i just always go through them and nothng happens.

if u used cheats that might be the problem useing cheats to skip parts can cause problems later.

try turning all the cheats back to off but other than that i don't have any ideas.

That's the risk you take with cheats. DK64 already has various core problems with PJ64 as it is, so cheats further complicate matters. You ought to always keep a copy of a native save that is played with no cheats enabled if you are going to experiment with cheats.

trouble with dk64
hi, I'm having problems with dk64 too.
I reckon it's a really fun game but when i get up to the first boss with lanky i can only get past the first dk star and when i go through the next star it doesn't count for some reason, except the boss is a puffer fish, not an octopus.
