Chrono Resurrection Playthrough - NEW video released!

Did anyone remember the Chrono Resurrection Project which was closed down by Square long time ago (in 2004).
They released a little that's it, what we did and then it was done.
Also no new stuff was released, only some little artworks in the forum.
But today, they released a , with a lot unseen stuff AND you've guess it, with some of the artworks which were released in 2006!
So they are still working on it, it seems... a shame, that it won't be released.
Btw: there was another very interesting project, but it was cancelled aswell it seems.

    Yeah, I thought the same.
The animations are a little bit choppy IMO, but this trailer wants me to play CT1&2 and CC again.
The N64 project would be awesome aswell, but also will never see the light of the day. It's such a shame to let such a great game series die.

Yeah, it kinda pisses me off to see such a beautiful game go down the drain. Even if they don't remake the original at least do some sort of sequel to it. I feel that Chrono Cross didn't do good enough. Though it was still a great game, Chrono Trigger will be remembered for a long time to come, and will still be one of my all time favorite games.

I really wish Square Enix would just let them release it. The fantastic work that they put into that remake indicates to me that they care a lot more about the game than anyone over at SE does.

Instead of riding on Chrono Trigger's coattails they should make an original game.

Square should have just bought the game from them. Looks incredible and well worthy of a commercial release

Square-Enix doesn't need to buy it out. The SE fanbase is die-hard and will always keep buying new SE games, so the only remakes SE need are simple cash-cows.

I'm sorry to be replying to a 3year old post. But I'm a fan of the Chrono series, CT1&2? I didn't think there was a Chrono Trigger 2?

And my opinion to the guys working on the Chrono Ressurection project (that Sqaure Enix had once shut down in 2004). Is that they should just remade Chrono Trigger 3d instead of a new plot.
