    Super C and ver 1.0

    Jabo,

Just wanted to let you know that Super Contra in 1.0 seems broke. It works in 0.6. Not sure what is up, just thought I'd let ya know.

    Thanks for a great emulator!

seems to not like 120K CHR-Rom

changing it to 128K makes it work

    additional

    according to this site
    http://www.tripoint.org/kevtris/nes/nestuff2.txt

    Super Contra CR 128K 128K TLROM-03
the default settings for Contra are wrong, this would indicate an imcomplete dump.

I am not sure why this would be broken, and I may not have the image unfortunately to test but I'll see what I can dig up, thanks for letting us know

I did find a "cleaner" image that seem to work without any issues. The one I had....I've been using for years and thought it was fine. It worked with 0.6, so I thought is was "clean". So when it didn't work with 1.0 I got concerned.

I may have jumped the gun on this problem.....sorry if I caused any problems. I must say again, a well done emulator.

Is there any good way to verify a good image from a bad one?

There are tools like clrmamepro + no-intro dats, or "goodtools" (i'd recommend no-intro dats + clrmamepro, personally)
