Modified NVIDIA 28.35: Refresh rate fix?

Not a dedicated PJ64 question I know, but anyways...

These are NVIDIA 28.35 drivers that have been modified, and are 'Refresh rate fix compatible':

    edit: there's also a modified 28.80:
    http://www.maxreboot.com/newspro/vie...8616150,82870,

Is anyone using them? Do they rectify the problem with XP's refresh rate reverting to 60hz for full-screen games?
Or do they re-enable the use of the Refresh rate fix prog, that become nullified after 27.42?:

    Cheers.

Nothing to do with Perfect Dark. Plus its very rare (if even really possible) that refresh rate has anything to do with a specific part of your graphics.

Refresh rate = number of times per second (maybe minute) that the image is projected on to your screen.

Refresh rate has nothing to do with software and everything to do with resolution. Nvidia "nvreffix" lets you say "85mhz refresh rate for every resolution" and be done with it. Otherwise, you have to specify the refresh for each resolution in windows by changing resolution and color depth and then setting the refresh rate. This would not be so bad if it were a 1 time thing and you only used a couple resolutions. I use:

    640x480 for NeoRageX emulation mainly
800x600 for some older PC games
1024x768 for medium old games (thats where they max out)
    1152x768 for high graphics games
1280x960 for wussy graphics games, N64, desktop... and anything else my video card can easily handle

Plus, I use both 16 and 32 bit color depths... that's almost 10 different settings I have to specify refresh rates for eac htime I install new drivers. Screw that.

What makes matter worse is that some operating system/driver combos will not remember what refresh you wanted to use for Xresolution.

    nvreffix fixes all of that

If you have a halfway decent monitor you should have a display button that lets you see the current resolution and refresh rate regaurdless of what software you are running.
