    Odd... Very odd...

Open up a terminal: (Perhaps its called Gnome Terminal / Terminal in your Utilities menu?)

    Enter the following commands:
    cd /home/crowell/mupen64-0.5/
    ./mupen64

Then, Once it fails to load the RSP plugin, like, you can see that there are none in the list, exit... On the terminal, you will see various lines of output from Mupen. Copy and paste those to the inside of code tags onto this thread.

Couldn't load plugin '/home/crowell/mupen64-0.5/./plugins/mupen64_hle_rsp_azimer.so': libstdc++.so.5: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

just installed libstdc++5 and it works fine!

VERY interesting that you didn't have it before. Anyways, Thats great news.. You may see more other plug ins too, but i can't be sure about that. Well, anyways, the terminal is your friend.
